There...

... is a certain loneliness that one can feel when they stop and examine the world around them. No one is ever really alone, though it can be more or less clear amongst people. Today wasn't a bad day. no... that's not why I'm randomly ranting this dull, almost solemn blog entry. I was thinking tonight, after a long period of nothingness, about where I can go:

First I thought about it metaphorically. I'm not exactly the most organized or motivated person in the world. And I can fully understand that the image I often portray can give the wrong impression to people. It's not sloppiness, it's free expression. Free expression is a 20th and 21st century idea that came out of the age of enlightenment where people realized that, especially in numbers, no man has to live with oppression. In numbers? Safety in numbers, power in numbers, unity amongst a people. And yet, we strive to be apart. Science says that a large majority of people cannot stand solitude. I agree with that. After all, when it comes down to free and personal expression, there has to be someone to express it to, right? So, where can I go metaphorically? It's up to me, but the possibilities for me are near endless right now. I should be happy but it's the same for everyone.

What about physically, then? 'Image is everything and the end justifies the means' is an old idea that also came out of the enlightenment. Many agreed and many disagreed. When it's explained to people in full, a large majority will say first that the end doesn't justify the means and then maybe agree that image isn't everything. However, in the world we live in today, our whole lives are faced with deception and lies and things dressed up to make people happy. I don't know what happens on the inside, but from an educated point of view I can honestly say I don't like it. The image, you see, is a way of keeping everyone in line. Revolution seems like such an outlandish idea that some might say it will never see the dawny sky. The bureaucratic world we live it will not survive, I know I can count on that statement. So, where can I go physically. I'll have to sort through the means and justify what really matters beyond image and status, but- the possibilities again are near endless.

I could go on an on, deeper and deeper into my own understanding of my own morality, but I'd rather let others figure me out. I'll give you my basis, you use your reasoning.

I need a drink...

WillGenesisCC: powerlines are scattered everywhere
WillGenesisCC: now we're in the middle of nowhere so it's a long unpopulated road for miles either way
WillGenesisCC: and there are just trees
WillGenesisCC: littered
WillGenesisCC: everywhere
WillGenesisCC: like there was no road either way, and then just powerlines
WillGenesisCC: we worked for half an hour to get to the top of a hill to survey if the road cleared down a ways but it was just tree after pile of trees
WillGenesisCC: and soooo, we worked like dogs cutting through giant trees to hopefully get cars out

PROJEKT REVOLUTION! :D

Long time no post, probably gonna make a new blog entirely at some point. But! First I must update here to keep the memories alive! I went to Projekt Revolution today and it was FUCKING INCREDIBLE. Best show ever.

Alright, here's the lineup but I'm gonna talk about my amazing day as a whole as well.

[The bands listed played in opposite order. IE: Revolution Stage: Armor for Sleep- Atreyu and then the Main Stage: Ashes Divide- Linkin Park]

Main Sta
ge:
Linkin Park
Chris Cornell
Busta Rhymes
The Bravery
Ashes Divide
Street Drum Corps

Revolution Stage:
Atreyu
10 Years
Hawthorne Heights
Armor for Sleep

Alrighty, lemme get started. Woke up today not even knowing if I could go since my parents both had work and would be gone before I needed to be at Joe's house(he wanted me there around 10ish). Thankfully my mom was able to get me and bring me up there. Me and Joe sat on his comp and drank Mountain Dew until Arthur got there. Arthur's mother was driving us all there. We were also picking up and driving Joe's girlfriend Victoria. Soooo we get picked up and drive all the way to the Tweeter Center, now the Comcast Center, and we get dropped off.

The gates were opening at 2 and the shows on the Revolution Stage begain at 2:30 or so(I think it was a little after). We got there at 12:45 so we had some time to kill. Incredibly we, being early enough, caught a hold of a guy giving out from Monster energy drinks. We got some and then got in the line. Since we were early, we were close to the front of the line. It was funny though cause we were aiming to just be out of the sun and being in line at that time aloud that to happen. We chilled and talked until the gates opened, guys in one line, girls in the other. By another incredible turn of events, the woman opened a 3rd line and asked us to begin in. So we got in first and had no wait at all.

Now before the show started they had all sorts of booths set up. They were all Monster of MLB oriented, and so we just took a walk around before the first band played. Joe and Victoria took a walk so me and Arthur looked for a place out of the sun. Oh wait, first we went into a tent and played the latest DDR. Pretty sick to be honest. Anyway, then Joe and Victoria left and me and Arthur looked for a place out of the sun. We went into a MLB trailer and they had computers, air conditioning, and MLB 2009 for the ps3 set up. We basically stood in there in the cool playing a full game of baseball until the first band came on.

The Revolution Stage segment of the Projekt was really good. 10 Years was much better than I could have imagined and then Atreyu was out of this world. WE ALMOST HAD THE BASSIST'S PICK. It hit Joe as he went to catch it, then i stepped on it to get it for Victoria and some bastard kid ripped it away from us. Needless to say his hand got a good stomping ;D

Between some of the shows, we got food and water which was ridiculously expensive. We went up on an empty stage and sat on the edge. Layed down for a bit. OH! I don't know how I could have forgotten to mention it, but we were able to text things that would appear on the big screen behind the bands. (On both stages until Linkin Park came on.) Of course we ensured that plenty of people now like mudkips, several others are screaming "DAD?!" and then an entire stadium just had to lose the game at our fingertips :P

On the Main Stage, bands were also incredible. Except for Busta Rhyme but that's probably just cause I can't stand hip hop. Especially when I'm at a hardcore rock concert... We were seperated in the Main Stage. Arthur and I sat together and Joe and Victoria sat together in a different section. Arthur and I sat in Section 1 Row BB, seats 31 and 32. Right near the front- awesome.

Many of the girls there were really pretty. Don't mean to sound like a pig or anything but I may have seen some of the hottest girls in real life tonight. Oh did I mention I was proposed to via big screen text? XD I replied back with a "Yes, Joe, I will marry you! :D" but it didn't get up on time LOL. All in fun I promise.

Drunk people can be assholes or really funny. See, the guy and his buddies behind us were already smashed and still drinking before the Main Stage performance was even half way through. They kept heckling this group of really pretty, yet seemingly... er... lacking in morals in decency(as far as clothing goes), group of girls who were not much older than myself, if not older at all. These guys were like 30 or 40 and being real assholes. Not that they really had control being so drunk but still. The other case was the woman who moved next to me. She had to be in her late 20s or early 30s and was fine for a while. We talked a bit just about the bands and how well they performed live(Each and every performance was done sooooo well it's unexplainable). She seemed to loose her motor skills and talked a lot more about stupid things as the night went on and she got drunker and drunker. At least she wasn't an angry drunk XD

Anyway, when the show finally ended we met all eventually met up at the "watah bubblah", as Arthur called it, and started heading for the car. Headbanging and cheering gave me and Victoria head aches. I was fine after a minute or so but her migraine was getting worse all the way to her place. Ah but now let me tell you how we got there and elsewhere. We walked down a long path and crossed the main street out of the parking lot to meet Joe's and Arthur's mothers expecting just to cram into the back of a car and get driven home. No no, that wouldn't do and nor would it fit the festive night. We're walking up past a limo on the road and whoa and behold, a drive opens the door for us! That is correct my friends, the parentals supplied us with a limo drive home. AND, IN ADDITION TO all this, they even got us a bunch of McDonald's. Surely this must be a dream, I thought. But no, it was all real and there for us. The limo was lit up really cool. The ceiling shown like the night sky, and yes, Alycia, there were sparkles alllll around. Victoria was ill for most of the drive unfortunately. She was the first to be dropped off thankfully, and Joe did a wonderful job of comforting and then carrying her inside at 1 in the morning even after he was already half asleep. Truly a knight in shining... track shoes. LOL OH YEAH! When the pit was at its height we took off Joe's shoe and through it on stage. Hitting the bassist in the leg ahaha. We found it afterwards miraculously.

Anyway, the limo took us back to Arthur's house and then Joe and I got in his mother's car which is how I got to my own house at 1:30 XD Of course not before getting another Mountain Dew. I swear I had like 10 of them today. Also the energy drink. Also a liter of Pepsi. Also 2 waters.

And so, I got in, signed on aim, opened blogger, and started typing ;P

I'm going away to NH soon so there may not be another post for a while again... Sorry about that. I'd post more often if I had more readers. Even now I know only the one person I told that I was writing this will be checking it tomorrow... er.. today.

I really just wanted to type all this out so I wouldn't forget this incredible night.

Arthur I'll pay you back for that ticket somehow!

Few days off

Well, I took a few days off. Nothin seems to has changed. I know Nick's takin some time off and planning on starting a new blog. V said he was doing something similar but no update on that yet. Lauren blogs every once in a blue moon anyway but I'm sure she's still alive. Anna's still up an' runnin'. Richard's not. Alycia and Jenn? Forget about it. XD

Um.. update on my life:

Things are still good. I applied for a job, still no word back on that yet unfortunately. I'm gonna put in a few more applications around town. I've only got one driving lesson left, thank God. Then I can get my license which I coulda' had in February ;;^^

Things are still good at home. I've drawn a bit more. Got some recent inspiration I'm starting to act on tonight. Life's just kinda chill right now, I guess. Nothing too outa the ordinary. Life's good, for the most part... cept that whole dying thing... :P There's really not that much to talk about. It's been hot the last few days [finally] which is good cause it's been high 40s/50s for months. 4 day heat wave, 90 degrees.

Danny had a grad party the other day. It was pretty sweet. Some of my friends came by. Family was here too. Me, Matty, Joe, Alycia, Erin, Brittany, and Steve hung out. I talked to my track coach. Who knows if I'll run a bit with some friends in the summer. My knee is STILL effed up. Shoulda gone to therapy a long time ago... Too late now I guess.

Anyway, I hate breaking off in random paragraphs so much but summaries are summaries and I gotta keep 'em concise. That's it until next time. W, signing off.

Gonna shooooout yer lungs out!

Cause it's summer vacation! At long last, school has come to a close! And, I've already started getting my life back together ahaha! Applied for a job, reuniting with old friends, some of my friends are patching things up with me(so proud :P), and I'm already back into practicing some art stuffs. I think i'm gonna have to add getting in shape to that list... possible a tan- natural of course.

Things are lookin' up! Let's hope they stay that way! *knocks on wood*
